Being an Army Brat, we were stationed overseas in Munich Germany (1975 I think) Mohammad came to our school, and spoke in our huge lunch room. He had my sister Ranee, come up on stage. He lifted her up into his arms and kissed her. When he fought in Munich, I was one of the kids that sold pendants at his fight. I'd love a picture of him, signing it for my sister, she has cancer, and tells the story to everyone. That would be really nice. Mo, you've always been #1 in my books. luv ya man

I wrote you a letter Ali. And looking for your address, I found this site and I will try the modern way to communicate.
I wrote to try to get your autograph to show my grandkids and greatgrandkids.
I promise I will never sell it.
It is only to connect to you and the diverse fan base you have around the world.
Me and my wife of 50 yrs. met you and another couple one Sat. night at the State-Lake Threatre downtown Chg. at the ticket booth. No other people were around and it was near the height of your fame. I was impressed by the way you spoke as I did as gentlemen from the south usually do, a not and a hida. The other gentlemen did also. I was impressed by the non arrogrance you displayed.
I always admired your boxing speed and brain. I then respected you as a man with no airs. After you went in the show, we tarried and of course never thought of disrupting your night out by making over you or askiing for a signature. But after you went in the show, we saw probably 50 or more young people a block or so behind you sneeking around the corners to stay in sight of you. I waved them off to say you were inside and would be for a couple hours.
I tell anoter story in the letter I wrote you.
I sure would like to have a word or signature. I apologize for the intrusion now into your life.
Sincerely,
Bill Brown

I met up with Muhammad and one of his pretty daughters at a courthouse in Bpt.,CT. . Two guys held him back from me after I said "Muhammad, you ain't all that pretty" !!! That's an experience I'll NEVER forget !!! We also talked about Howard Cossell and his rope-a-dope routine. I hope Muhammad is doing well. He'll always be the CHAMP in my book !! Thank you Muhammad, God Bless

My father & I met Muhammad Ali at the 1st LA Marathon, we were vendors next to the Adidas booth and Mr. Ali came over to us after my Dad called him "Champ", which he is and always will be. Ali came over and went into his "Stance" arms raised, doing the stare down and mugging with me like we were going to box...one of the biggest thrills of my life. What a gracious and extraordinary MAN!!
